Down Payment Assistance

Discounts on closing fees – Participants who complete SEHP's pre-purchase homebuyer education program receive discounts on their closing fees.

ADDI funds – Loan of up to 6% of your purchase price (up to $10,000) at no interest. Must be paid back when house is sold. Click here for more details.

LAP – Loan amount ranges from $2,000-$10,000 at 5% interest rate. Click here for more details.

EMAP – Participating employers provide a low-interest loan to employees who meet eligibility requirements. Click here to see if your employer is on the list or to find out more information about EMAP.

Fixed-Rate Plus Option through SDHDA – Borrower can receive up to 3% of loan amount credited toward down payment and closing costs with slight increase in borrower's interest rate. Click here for more details.
