Buying your first home can be one of the most exciting times in your life. However, it is also the largest financial commitment you have ever made and should not be entered into lightly. Our homebuyer counseling and education programs instruct new homebuyers through the process of buying their first home.

Everyone experiences some nervousness when purchasing a new home. Our goal is to help make your first-time home buying experience a great one! Our homebuyer educators help walk you one-on-one through the entire process so you are ready to approach and complete your steps to homeownership with renewed confidence.

Topics include:
•  Pros/cons of owning
•  Personal budgeting and saving for maintenance (click here for a sample budget to help you get started)
•  Credit management
•  Down payment assistance programs
•  Working with a lender and Realtor
•  Home inspections
•  Making an offer
•  Understanding all the fees involved in purchasing
•  Preparing for closing

We encourage you to take advantage of this FREE education opportunity. Our education is offered in a one-on-one personalized setting so we can be very specific to your personal situation. We offer both day and evening sessions, Mondays - Fridays. Participants who complete the program even receive discounts on their closing fees for attending.
